BPS Café — January 2010

If you've received a January postcard from a sender who prefers to remain tantalizingly mysterious, you can still say thank you! Members can leave a comment here to let other members know how much they appreciate the postcard they've received.

Note: If you've just received your December postcard and would like to thank the sender, you can still leave a comment in the December BPS Café post! For earlier postcards that have finally arrived, please check out the quick links to the appropriate BPS Café in the Related Links section on the right.

Mary in MA,

Thanks for the promise of springtime! Your lovely homemade card arrived in the middle of the Arctic front here in MS. I'm going to post a picture on Flickr -- it has a bit of snow/ice in it! I appreciate your effort and creativity!

To Therese in Norway,
Thank you for the charming and funny card. The duck's stare was quite intense, and although I wasn't afraid that it was watching me, I will now know what to call that fear, if I ever start to feel it. I also had to laugh at the coincidence because I took a walk around a lake today and a goose hissed at me. Do you think there is a word to describe that, too? Thanks again, and have a wonderful 2010! I have been remiss in not letting Jennifer in Alberta that her card arrived soon after the beginning of the month.

My life has been sort of turned topsy turvey with my mother having been diagnosed with Alzheimer's (I knew for several years that this was the likely problem but getting HER to admit there was a problem and then getting her to get tested.... ) Add to that the post-Christmas crap... and it fell by the wayside.

It was a lovely fishie that I envy...

Hey Marisa from the states. Thanks for the pretty postcard - which actually arrived a few weeks ago I've only just got around to commenting. A stamp was stuck over your blog address but if you read this comment I'd love to have a look so please post the address here!
