PostSecret
Have you heard of the intriguing PostSecret project? To quote from the site: "PostSecret is an ongoing community art project where people mail in their secrets anonymously on one side of a postcard." The results are funny, sad, thoughtful, poignant, hilarious, dark, cranky and/or a complex mix of emotions — and a little window into the souls of strangers. Have a look here. Note: some of the postcards are NSFW or suitable for the kiddies.
Thanks so much to lovely BPS member Olga for sending me the link!

You should check out the books. They're so fun.
I flipped through the book once and it was really interesting almost sad though that people had such dark secrets!
I LOVE PostSecret! I want to send in a postcard this year
I was hearing on NPR the other day how the mail is becoming obsolete and down 15% or something like that but the USA refuses to hike up postal prices. Anyways...I was thinking maybe you could notify NPR of this project...it would be a great thing for them to feature ;)
Thanks for the NPR idea, Katrina — so sweet of you to suggest it!

:-)
There are more of them here. They don't show the archive on the Blogger site: http://postsecret.tumblr.com
I've posted one to them but it never showed up.... I wanted someone to know, even if I couldn't ever tell someone.
Thanks so much for the link, Anonymous — really kind of you to share that. And I hope that you're okay and in a good place, too.
Take care,
Lori
