Just so you know — the database is taking a little longer to build than expected, so our September address mailing to members is being done manually by me. I've sent out addresses to half of our 257 members as of yesterday, and will have the rest done by this evening. Thanks for your patience — needless to say it's a bit slow doing it this way!

Oooh - and having just written my postcard, this might be a tip for others: remember to note on the postcard that it's for the Benevolent Postcard Society mailing! This may seem obvious, but I write a lot of postcards, and I did have to remind myself.
Yay, I just wrote my postcard and am off to mail it! Reminds me of being 9 years old and having pen pals. Lovely!
