I know the book project must be a huge undertaking. I think you were very brave to take it on! I'll look forward to seeing it in 2012, and I was just thinking today that I'll have to remember to get a copy for my pen-pal. ☺ cheers, Beth
A postcard exchange and art project in one, the aim of the Benevolent Postcard Society is to bring a smile to its members through the random exchange of postcards from September 2009 to September 2010. At the beginning of each month, members send a cheerful, amusing, inspiring, pretty or quirky postcard to each other — either handmade or readymade. At the end of the year, all the postcards exchanged will be collected and published as a book, the final result of a year's sharing of good karma through random acts of kindness.
Please note that the Benevolent Postcard Project finished up on September 1 2010. We are now in the process of putting together a book about the BPS project, which will be available in 2011. Thank you for your interest!

By day (or, depending on the deadline, by night) I'm a Canadian collage illustrator. Since 2006, the automatism blog is where I share whatever I find inspiring, interesting, or simply beautiful in interiors, design, art, illustration and other creative fields.

Happy New Year, Lori! How's it going with the BPS book?
Thanks so much Beth! I've had an incredibly busy 2011 so the BPS book has had to wait a while — but it'll be up and running again in 2012!
Happy New Year to you as well!
Lori
