My brother Greg's sweet little cat Pi passed away yesterday after a too short life — she'll be greatly missed.

I am so sorry for your loss.
Oh, Lori, my sympathies to you and Greg! My kitty has a chronic illness, and while she's doing okay for now, I already grieve that I will lose her prematurely.
Oh, I'm so sorry for Greg (& you). It's the worst thing about having a pet. And when it's far too early, it's so very upsetting.
