The addresses for the August BPS postcard mailing have just been sent out — be sure to check your spam folder if you don't see yours in your inbox. Happy mailing — and happy weekend!
Received my August address just fine. I was wondering, which month will be the wrap-up month? August brings us full circle to 12 calendar months of the project, but only 11 months of sending cards.
Sadly, I'm afraid I haven't received any postcards since April.
We'll be doing the last mailing on September 1! And I'm so disappointed to hear that you haven't received any postcards since April — I'll check the database to make sure it's not a problem on our end here (I'll email you if it is)!
A postcard exchange and art project in one, the aim of the Benevolent Postcard Society is to bring a smile to its members through the random exchange of postcards from September 2009 to September 2010. At the beginning of each month, members send a cheerful, amusing, inspiring, pretty or quirky postcard to each other — either handmade or readymade. At the end of the year, all the postcards exchanged will be collected and published as a book, the final result of a year's sharing of good karma through random acts of kindness.
Please note that the Benevolent Postcard Project finished up on September 1 2010. We are now in the process of putting together a book about the BPS project, which will be available in 2011. Thank you for your interest!

By day (or, depending on the deadline, by night) I'm a Canadian collage illustrator. Since 2006, the automatism blog is where I share whatever I find inspiring, interesting, or simply beautiful in interiors, design, art, illustration and other creative fields.
