BPS Café — December 2009
If you've received a December postcard from a sender who prefers to remain tantalizingly mysterious, you can still say thank you! Members can leave a comment here to let other members know how much they appreciate the postcard they've received.
Note: If you've just received your November postcard and would like to thank the sender, you can still leave a comment in the November BPS Café post! For earlier postcards that have finally arrived, please check out the quick links to the appropriate BPS Café in the Related Links section on the right.

To dear Shannon in Salt Lake City,
Thank you so much for the very cool collage postcard. I didn't even shriek at the huge lizard-thing stalking the earth! (It's so timely, too, with the Copenhagen Climate Conference now sitting. Clever person, you.) I really enjoyed seeing this amongst the pile of nothingness in the mailbox.
ciao-meow & happy holidays!
Susan in Silver Spring, MD
I received a lovely Christmas-ey card from Steph B, in California. You can't see from the scan the sparkly accents.

Happy Christmas all!!! xo
Piret from Tallinn, thanks so much for my xmas card...first one of the season! I have to agree with you with regards to a white Christmas. Here in SA, most of the decorations, especially in shopping malls are modeled on those used in the Northern Hemisphere, like "fur" (plastic) trees, holly, red velvet ribbons etc which don't really work in a city that experiences temperatures of about 30 degrees centrigrade over December! Thanks for the kind words, A.
To Selen in Ankara, Turkey — thank you so much for the lovely vintage Christmas postcard, and for your sweet holiday good wishes! And it's wonderful having you as a member of the BPS, too!
Happy holidays,
Lori
